At Lavington Pre-School everything that we do is based on well thought-out policy and clearly defined procedure.

If you cannot find something you are interested in seeing please ask a member of our team and we can direct you to it. Print-outs of all of our policies and procedures can be found in the reception area of the pre-school.
At Lavington Pre-school we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued.
We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow WSCB (Wiltshire Safeguarding Children’s Board) procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.
All staff and Committee members are trained to Foundation Level. The Acting Manager is the Designated Safeguard Lead (DSL) and is Advanced Level qualified. We also have a Deputy Designated Safeguard Lead (DDSL).

Lavington Pre-School is overseen by a committee of volunteer parents who help to support the school in fundraising projects and provide assistance to the staff when needed.

Hard copies are also available in the pre-school should you wish to discuss anything with a member of the team.
