We are an Ofsted inspected pre-school and were awarded the second- highest rating of ‘Good’ overall and ‘Outstanding for Personal Development meaning the provision is of a very high quality. (March 2020)
We put the safety of our children and co-workers above all else and ensure all staff, commitee members and regular visitors to our Pre-school are DBS checked, without exception.
The Bristol Standard for early years is recognised nationally as an outstanding framework for Nursery settings. We’ve been accredited with the Bristol Standard for Quality Assurance.
We accept children eligible for 2 Year Old Funding, Universal 3-5 Year Old Funding & the extended 30 Hours Funding for eligible 3-5 year olds. We also accept Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP).
As members of the Early Years Alliance we benefit from the excellent support and resources of the organisation which helps us maintain our fantastic service offering.

We put the wellbeing of our children before anything else and this can be seen in the smiling faces around the pre-school. We encourage a variety of different types of play to encourage the development of speech and communication, social interaction, literacy and numeracy.
Lavington pre-school is a safe and warm environment for children to begin their journey into education. We encourage children to explore their surroundings, grow in confidence and gain excitement from their time with us in preparation for their graduation to school.
